RPM Limiter for Rotax iS engines for start up of helicopter applications. 
Especially in systems with no or only low flywheel mass on the propeller shaft, overspeed can easily occur during start-up. The RPM limiter is active during engine start-up and monitors the engine speed in real time. If an adjustable limit value is exceeded, the engine is shut down immediately. As soon as the main rotor is engaged, the RPM limiter is deactivated and no longer interferes with engine control.
