Groundbreaking Ceremony for RS Flight Systems’ New Company Building

On August 11, 2025, we celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of our new company building at our Mörlbach site in Berg. Together with our partner and developer, Reipa Grundbesitz GmbH & Co. KG, we are creating a modern facility that will provide space for creativity, support innovative projects, and enable further growth.

Our entire team is excited about the additional space. Managing Director Maximilian Rommel emphasized the importance of the project:“This new building is a milestone for our company’s development.  It enables us to continue growing sustainably, create new jobs, and remain true to our principles of innovation and customer focus. At the same time, it represents our long-term commitment to our location in Berg and to the region.”

The plans include a two-story building with a basement, designed in timber-frame construction and clad with larch wood to blend seamlessly with the existing Reiser buildings. “It will be covered with larch wood, just like the other houses,” explained CTO Dr. Matthias Weinzierl. “It’s meant to blend in harmoniously.”

With a footprint of around 400 square meters and a total usable area of approximately 900 square meters, the new facility will provide space for offices, a laboratory, production areas, and a hall. The total investment amounts to roughly €2.5 million.

In addition to the RS Flight Systems team, the groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Mayor Rupert Steigenberger, shareholders Wolfgang Reiser, developer Florian Reiser, and Reiser Simulation and Training Managing Director Dr. Johannes Hain.

This project is a powerful investment in our long-term vision - and in the people and ideas that drive us forward.
